Bones and hides instead of meat.

State decrees paralyze the distribution of meat
Armando Chacín, president of Fedenaga, denounced that the governors of Guárico, Barinas and Apure insist "in an unconstitutional and illegal way" in seizing the commercialization of the item.

Only white bones, belly, lamb and pork chop offered yesterday the vendors of the butchers in Quinta Crespo. There was no beef in any of the coolers in the stalls. Although the government has supplied some cattle in the last month, traders indicate that they have not been able to alleviate the shortage that worsened with the publication of the regulated price of the item on August 22.

"I have not been able to buy meat since they regulated it, I do not get it. It's sad that you want to eat a bit and you can not, "said Lisban, a consumer who was in the market.

The National Federation of Cattlemen assured that the severe absence of the item is due, to a large extent, to the intervention of the governors of the Guárico, Barinas and Apure states in the meat chain, which has caused that the product does not reach the consumer in Caracas and in other cities of the country.

"Some governors persist, in an unconstitutional and illegal way, in seizing the meat commercialization, by stopping the distribution that goes to the cities, especially the capital," said Armando Chacín, president of Fedenaga.

The governor of Barinas state, Argenis Chávez Frías, issued a decree that states: "10% of the livestock will be available for their benefit within the entity, by the producers of the state, through the slaughtering rooms and / or slaughterhouses in the different municipalities to be purchased under the modality of purchase by the Agricultural Company Ezequiel Zamora de Barinas ".

The Government set the price per kilo per cow in 10 sovereign bolivars and the bull in 15 sovereign bolivars, amounts that must be paid in cash, in accordance with the provisions of the document.

Woo HOO! 2.2 lbs of meat, and the owner of the livestock is paid the equivalent of 9 cents. Because Chavismo says, "That is fair!" And on top of that, 10% of the cattle herd is now property of The State.

Guess what happens when they run out of cattle/pigs/chickens to seize for the glory of the Fatherland?
