Maduro will finally accept humanitarian aid to Venezuela... if...

Maduro accepts humanitarian aid from the UN
January 12, 2019

The resident coordinator of the UN for Venezuela, Peter Grohmann, proposed this Saturday to President Nicolás Maduro to help overcome the shortage of medicines and food suffered by the Venezuelan people, and Maduro accepted.

This happened during a meeting with representatives of UN agencies in which Maduro and his Cabinet were present.

"We wish you this year peace and prosperity," Grohmann began. "The 2030 Agenda touches practically all areas of life: social, economic, environmental, governance ... here we have two themes: one, sustainable development; and there are urgent issues in health, in food "

"These are issues that we have to work together to meet the needs of the population, which as we know, is going through a complicated situation ..."

On the other hand, on the issue of sustainable development, Grohmann reiterated the need for reliable official data. "This is important and not only because this is not an agenda of the Government but for the whole society, of the whole country. It means the different political sectors, civil society, employers, workers. "

For his part, Maduro had previously said, reference to the UN and UNDP, "anyone who wants to help Venezuela with a humanitarian and development vision, welcome to Venezuela."

Maduro has previously denied that there was any hardships in Venezuela. "A Bolivarian, Socialist workers paradise, where there is no need and no want." He then, in the same breath, would claim that any hardship (there aren't any... remember?) is due to the vile Economic War that is not the result of wholesale economic malfeasance and neglect of the infrastructure, but due to Spain, the EU, the US, Portuguese pig farmers, the Illuminati and various "mafias" directed from Bogota.

In another report of this same acquiescence, Maduro claims that he will accept UN humanitarian aid, but ONLY from the UN. And Maduro will be in charge of distributing the aid to where it needs to be distributed... via his military (who siphons off the lions share in order to sell it) that keeps him in power, and his enchufado (connected with Chavismo) networks. In other words, approximately 20% or less will reach the people who need it most. Everyone else will pay for the humanitarian aid in an economy that dumps half the value of its currency every day. And naturally, Maduro will take credit for the awesomeness of his leadership, not mentioning that his leadership has turned the economic envy of Latin America into this hemispheres premier cesspool.
