A 29-year-old woman who publicly battled depression jumped to her death from a 12-story building in Northern Brazil after firefighters tried to talk her down safely.

A woman, 29, who confronted her bouts with depression jumped to her death from her 12-story building in northern Brazil as firefighters attempted to restrain her.

A cellphone video recorded the frightening moment Grazielli Martinelli stood up and ran towards the edge of her building's water tank and leaped after she noticed a fireman approach her.

Authorities and family members in the port city of Belém spent five hours last Monday trying to convince the half-naked woman to climb down.

3. No kidding. I didn't want to have that image, either.

I learned some time after September 11, some US Americans somehow saw film of people jumping from the Twin Towers. It was a total shock anyone would film it. I went out of my way to make sure I never opened anything that could possibly stick that in my mind, either.

I really don't get it!

It's easy to see someone who has been fighting to discover a reason to hope there is something in our world, in our lives we can find which is stronger, more powerful than death could so easily get tipped out thinking about what actually is going on inside that fire, and the impact it will make later on in the world.

Put all the blame on the murderous, greedy fascists, starting with Bolsonaro, and people like him, who encourage their demons to have at it.
