PANAMA IS THE LATEST COUNTRY TO LEGALLY RECOGNISE THE RIGHTS OF NATURE

The laws recognise nature's "right to exist, persist and regenerate its life cycles".

The rights of nature can now be defended in Panama's count system. The country has introduced new legislation that grants rivers, trees, mountains and oceans similar legal rights to people, corporations and governments.

Signed by Panama's president ​​Laurentino Cortizo this month, the legislation defines nature as "a unique, indivisible and self-regulating community of living beings, elements and ecosystems interrelated to each other that sustains, contains and reproduces all beings".

A map that highlights in one color countries that recognize nature's rights would serve well as a logo for a global movement pushing for more countries to do the same as well as to protect the rights already recognized.

Because corporations are destroying or buying up all the nature to exploit it to death for money.

Corporations are sociopathic by design.


Our country needs to never let a sociopath in government or regulate corporations . Empathy and integrity must be required to do the jobs of running our government.

We need to stop tolerating intolerable people and what they do.

Felons are not a good candidate for a senator house member or president.

Too many sociopaths,narcissists authoritarians and criminals in our government will destroy democracy from within.

They are already at work destroying democracy.
