Cuba and Peru Give a Boost to Links through New Agreements

Havana, Jan 12 (Prensa Latina) The governments of Cuba and Peru will sign today in this capital several cooperation agreements as part of the current visit of President Ollanta Humala.

According to official sources, the agreements involve the technical, judicial and educational fields, including the mutual recognition of higher studies, diplomas and certificates.

Under the new agreements, the parties will give a boost to bilateral links, mostly expressed in the social field.

More than 800 Peruvian youngsters have graduated from universities in Cuba, where another 1,130 are currently doing studies, mainly in medical schools.
