Bolsonaro Committed Crimes in Speech to Ambassadors, Say Experts
Statements make Bolsonaro impeachable; prosecutors pressure Aras to investigate President

President Jair Bolsonaro committed a series of crimes in the presentation made to ambassadors in Brasília, and the statements, in theory, could lead to impeachment or impeachment, according to experts consulted by Folha.
By attacking the electoral system again with lies, he would have abused his power, provided for in the ineligibility law. The offensive against the Superior Electoral Court would characterize a crime of responsibility, according to the Impeachment Law.
The speech provoked rejection in the Judiciary and in several sectors of the Public Ministry. The President of the Federal Supreme Court, Luiz Fux, repudiated "the attempt to put the electoral process in check through the international community."
In a letter, 43 prosecutors said that Bolsonaro is campaigning for disinformation and "debases democratic freedom." They called the attorney general, Augusto Aras, for the President to be investigated.
