Owner of a multimillion-dollar research contract for the federal government, the Paraná Research Institute released a survey that points to a technical tie between the presidential candidates Lula (PT) and Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
With small differences, this result has been repeated since May, while institutes such as Datafolha, Ipec, and Quaest pointed to PT leadership in the period.

Datafolha is an independent institute that belongs to Grupo Folha and works with electoral research and statistical surveys for the market. The institute does not conduct election polls for governments or politicians.
In March, a contract worth R$ 1.6 million was signed between Paraná Pesquisas and the federal government to carry out surveys on public policies. The contract is for one year.
