Fingers crossed there are no casualties. Words can’t express how sad it is for people dealing with the losses.

We’ve been having heavy rains across the Caribbean for some time. It is hurricane season- we all need to pay attention.
The vast majority of Caribbean people only pay attention to tropical storm or hurricane warnings.
They’d better prepare for more rain.

We all need to up our awareness given climate change and proactively react. Gone are the days of waiting until the alarm goes off.

It took us 3 tries to drive around the island (warned about flat tires, we did not listen). Beautiful diving, beautiful Pitons. I am so sorry to see this as the most beautiful part of the island is the people.

My close friends live there most of the year but they left last week to visit their kids.

It has so much force. Shocking. Can't imagine how long it will take before anyone there can calm down well enough to simply go to sleep.
