By India Today Web Desk: An American man is suspected to have killed at least three sex workers in the Mexican city of Tijuana, setting off a massive manhunt for him in the United States and Mexico, reported Fox News.

Homicide investigators said the suspect, believed to be a US citizen, picked up his victims from strip clubs and bars in Zona Norte, a community in northern Tijuana, which lies just across the US border.

Baja California Attorney General Ricardo Carpio said the killer targets “vulnerable, lonely” women and “lures them with lies”.

According to evidence collected by investigators, the suspect had sex with each of his victims, and battered them before killing them. Each woman was found dead in a motel room.
