I think I found a way to get lower prices on Amazon.

2 days ago I signed up on Camelcamelcamel.com ( I know, weird name)
and filled out the lower than advertised prices I wanted on some items in my Amazon "save" list.

And today was notified of a price drop for a pair of shoes that is slightly below MY desired price, and 5.00 below the original listed price.

Now, we know that consumer spending is dropping like a rock
and we know that Amazon is doing a lot of things to increase purchases
and that camel x 3 is linked to Amazon prices
and that Amazon shows different prices for the same items depending on your past shopping history with them.

but...still....I need the shoes, they are an attractive price...

Going to watch the camel site and see how well it pays off.
