It's already begun. A couple hundred have been laid off already, and tens of thousands more. They're claiming it's because of the end of the Bush Tax cuts, which is an absolute lie. The truth is that if they can't win the country, they're going to do everything they can to make their heroine's asinine wordy tome come true by simply shrugging and letting the working class starve.

IT has the possibility of becoming a self fulfilling prophecy. By increasing the numbers of unemployed, you decrease the buying power of the populace, and thus reduce the demand for those still employed. They in turn become the new unemployed, and it goes on from there. We should seize the companies of those unpatriotic greedy plutocrats now and make sure that everyone who wants a job, can get one.

they would note that people who made over $50K a year voted in much greater percentages, here.

While the Democrats send out buses and get people registered, the thugs strip mine the opportunities that would allow more people to become like their base, such as it is. See foot. Aim. Fire.

Perhaps, if they would just spread their billions around, say in adult "vo-tech" schools and state colleges for free tuition, grants for local manufacturing, maybe food, electric cars, ...wealth creation stuff that increases demand, stuff that communities and individuals could use to create and gain assets, they could win too. 'Course, they gotta get rid of that nasty aversion to anything but white skin too. Or if they could channel some of the old-time people who actually had a soul.

I applied for a freelance position yesterday.
No response, as usual. Another job application sent into the Void.

In 16 months I'll be 62 and hopefully be able to collect my pittance of Social Security. But it sure makes a person feel worthless when nobody ever responds.

of millions of the Americans who brought the country this far.

I can feel you, though, especially all those resumes that must be filling up the Internet cloud drives. Mine are out there next to yours. I'm 58, haven't worked a regular job in a few years (partly my fault, because I really can't get enthused about taking advantage of people in most of the places that are hiring). My wife works for the state, which so far is saving us.

Remember there are tens of millions of people vying for only a few million jobs, (I really like those census charts) and for whatever reason the conversation seems to be centered around how awful it would be for millionaires to have to pay $30 or $40K more in taxes. While working class people can't even hardly keep the heat on.

Just know it isn't you.

I have been encouraging people to think about how people got things changed before unions and the government responded to keep them in line back in the 20's, sit down strikes, etc. We need to make more noise, I think, 'cause I am not hearing enough about the working poor, those in poverty, etc.

I wish you luck, for whatever you can get out of that.
