Federal Government Shutdown: Day 3
As we come up on the first weekend of the shut down and according to some simple math, the first Billion wasted.
I find myself completely without words.
As, I browse around DU and the larger Mass Media I am stunned by the total lack of anything resembling critical thought on the part of the Republican factions. Only contempt for anyone who doesn't drink their particular blend of bitter tea.
It's quite amazing and very sad.
I am glad that the Administration and the Congressional Dems are holding the line and I wish them Godspeed in their grueling task.
