Wars We Cannot Win

We must end our unnecessary and misguided wars. We are bleeding money – to the tune of trillions of dollars in Iraq and Afghanistan – and losing lives – thousands of service men and women have died just since the invasion of Iraq.We are destroying our country in four wars we cannot afford and are losing – badly.

The Iraq War – We may officially be out of the war, but we still have thousands of American contractors, officers and State Department officials in the country. Why are we still there?

The Afghanistan War – The people of Afghanistan were fighting a civil war before our troops entered their country, and the civil war will continue after we leave.

Phantom Terror War – We are at a standstill. At home, we are fighting more homegrown terrorists, abroad we continue to fight more emerging terrorists.

The Economic War – Our leaders seem unaware we are even in an economic war. We are losing badly, and may have already lost.

16,603 companies sold to foreign investors ... no wonder we don't have a middle class ... and no mention of the worst war in our history ... the war on drugs ... a no brainer ... that never was winnable ...

Costing billions in paramilitary operations and millions of lives while building and maintaining the most vicious gangs the planet has ever seen, it's not even on the radar.

It's a failure. We only got more and worse drugs (see: krokodil). We lost. Now end it and get over it.
