but I'm still putting in my $400 per month minimum toward my Roth IRA....maxed it out last year for first time (7k) and plan to do same this year. Better late than never.

To any younger posters here: max out a Roth IRA every year starting at approx. 24 years old. By the time you are 54 you should be able to retire if you watch your expenditures. I didn't do that like I should have and now will have to work until 62 to retire comfortably. Only reason I can do that is because of my wife's diligence and hard work. I was really lost financially for many years and just didn't do the right and easy thing. Do it and prosper. You can travel and have fun later on.
