Victory! Wirecutter Workers Reach a Tentative Agreement

I am pleased to share that NewsGuild of New York members at Wirecutter have ended two years of negotiations with a strong tentative agreement.


Everyone's solidarity and support of the strike and boycott over Black Friday and Cyber Monday helped make this possible. Among other gains, this deal:

Immediately increases members’ salaries by an average of nearly $5,000

sets a new salary floor of $59,000

guarantees 2%-2.5% annual wage increases

eliminates the use of NDAs in cases of harassment
