SPEEA workers march in support of union as Boeing talks restart

Boeing buildings filled with marching red-shirted aerospace engineers and technical workers Wednesday as contract negotiations resumed after a two-week holiday hiatus.
Workers represented by the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) gathered at 15 Boeing sites around the Puget Sound area, plus one in Oregon, in support of union negotiators.
SPEEA’s Day of Action included marches and walks in Kent, Bellevue and Renton, and a lunchroom rally and march in Everett.
