You can help 3,000 security officers organize
From email.
Friends!
Security officers are organizing in Silicon Valley and they need your help.
Right now, one of the major obstacles to their fight for good jobs is a company called Security Industry Specialists, which contracts for several tech giants, including Google and Apple. SIS is resisting its workers' efforts to get job security, healthcare, paid time off and full time work.
The officers will be taking a message to Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt from Netroots Nation on Thursday lunchtime. I'm asking you to take part in the action to show the strength of our solidarity.

We will leave by bus from the San Jose convention center just after 12 noon on Thursday and will be back by 2 pm for the caucuses. There will be lunch provided.
It's going to be a colorful, fun direct action to help organize a large number of workers form a union. I hope lots of folks on this list can take a short time out from their day to make a big difference for working people.
Please RSVP here to show your support - and don't forget to invite your friends too.
