By Julie Anderson

The superintendent of a Christian school in Lincoln has been removed from his post after appearing in a community theater's production of the musical “The Producers.”

Harold Scott had served as superintendent of Parkview Christian School for two years.

Recently, he appeared in the Mel Brooks comedy at the Lofte Theatre near Manley, Neb., as Max, one of two theatrical producers who scheme to get rich by overselling interests in a Broadway flop. The show includes homosexual jokes and characters.

According to its website, Parkview is a non-denominational Christian school with students from preschool through 12th grade. It was founded in 1980 by Calvary Community Church but several years ago became a separate, non-profit entity.

or churches and they proceed to take over your free time. I bet they'd fire an employee for owning a non-porn R-rated DVD.
