Power district worker critically injured

KEARNEY — A Dawson Public Power District employee was in critical condition at Good Samaritan Hospital after being injured while working on a de-energized line northwest of Ravenna.
Kurt Keaschall, 45, of Pleasanton was injured about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Sherman County, the company said in a press release.
“At this time, our thoughts and prayers are with Kurtis and his family,” said Robert Heinz, general manager for Dawson Public Power District in Lexington.
