What is Fraud Armor?

We have been purchasing our checks from Checks in the Mail.

For many years the check had a Check Armor logo suggesting, I think, protection from theft, or fraud.

But last month it was time to renew the supply and this time the logo was Fraud Armor which, frankly, I thought was the same thing. And probably paid extra..

Now I keep getting emails to register online for that Fraud Armor. I don't like to register for stuff that I don't understand and probably don't need.

Anyone has any idea what this Fraud Armor?

Thanks
