I asked for the manager at Safeway to discuss this false headline in the Enquirer, and other lies.

The headline said a bunch of garbage about Hillary, all making it seem that she had done something illegal, which she has not. I explained that while I appreciate the Enquirer's first amendment rights, Safeway also has rights and responsibilities related to the material that it sells.

That Elvis and UFO sightings (no offense) were one thing but these allegations were false and harmful to Democracy, and should not be at the check stands along with recipes and maps.

That keeping them on their shelves is tacit agreement to the statements, that I wished to formally complain and request that if the Enquirer or any other publication continue to print divisive and false statements, Safeway should no longer sell them.

She told me that the decision has to be made by their corporate office.

In Hawaii, that corporate office is located at
680 Iwilei Road #590
Honolulu, Hawaii 96817
808-524-4554

Your corporate office is available using google.

...wondered why anyone would buy publications like these, thinking that there couldn't possibly be people who believe nonsense about 2-headed alien babies and dog-faced humans.

I haven't been a kid for a number of decades now, but it still astonishes me that there are so many gullible people who seem to have absolutely no critical thinking skills. How do they get thru life?

WTF happened to the Enquirer? They used to be looney but harmless. Now their last three editions have had anti-Hillary lies all over the cover -- not just one story, but almost every one. Need to write to DG.

For pennies.

Why is it only anti-Hillary? They can't think of any nasty trump falsehoods, they're all too real?

It is bullshit and not harmless, not at all.
