And i fear already we have reached a point of no return. the Artic Ice on the North Pole really cinched it for me. I cannot believe how much of it is open ocean now. Thanks for the posts.

Not good...

I feel like even as we struggle with our Govt and Economy...much less our own personal lives, The Planet is just ticking along unheeded. We have collectively let it happen, and it's a time bomb that we shorten the fuse each year without some major shift in behaviors.

Maybe what, 40-50 years of a "live-able" planet? Relatively not too difficult just catastrophes here & there.
Somewhere along the line the oh-fuck-disaster-of-it-all threshold will be crossed, and then the real shitshow starts. By then it's too late but to survive, just try and adapt.
kiss it goodbye.

not saying we’re all gonna die soon but living on the planet will get more challenging. We’ll adapt for a while, maybe longer than I think humans are kinda crafty when faced with pure survival.
But the planet will eventually cleanse itself.
