EIA trims 2019 coal production outlook in new report.

Coal production expected to fall to 617.3 million tons, decrease of 18.3% compared to production levels reported in 2018.

EIA now anticipates coal will be just 25% of generation in 2019, 22% in 2020.

power plants next year,this number should drop another 10-20%. Going to be rough for the Guy's and Gal's working the Rails. Especially CSX and Nortfolk Southern.
