I see the results of declining bee population in my small fruit tree orchard with trees not getting pollinated. I haven't produced a Loquat in years, and the plums and pears have also failed to produce fruit.

Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you've got
Till it's gone

Birds, squirrels, lizards and me. Not even a rabbit or coyote. So sad.

And trying to tell them is frustrating - only thing that seem important to most folks is to feel good now and ignore the consequences.

It's as if they have a "feel good now" drug addiction and the hell with posterity.
