Big oil has been unassailable for a long time. It makes me think of the tobacco industry. They managed to hide facts and influence politicians for a long time. It’s taken many years but they are a shadow of their former selves. It seems like big oil is finally feeling the pressure.

I also see some promising developments for minimum wage jobs. All the crap about not being able to find workers isn’t accepted nowadays, at least by many. They just can’t find people who want to work for peanuts while the upper crust makes hundreds of times as much.

They have gotten away with so much over the decades and areas of this country - and the world - are still feeling the effects. It's long past time that someone held their feet to the fire. This country - and the rest of the world - is waking up and, like so many other fading traditions, we're on the cusp of big changes.
