Giant pandas no longer 'endangered' species in China



Giant pandas are no longer an "endangered" species in #China, as decades of conservation efforts are finally paying off. That's the message from Chinese officials, who say their growing numbers reflect the country's achievements in biodiversity and ecological restoration.

whooping cranes are still exceedingly rare, but they may be back if we can continue to protect them. cheetahs as well.

We need to do a better job of protecting their environments, which will certainly benefit everyone. And if China can manage it with the pandas, we have no excuse.

I don't think the average person cares about ugly fish, insects, or plants.

On the other hand, protecting the habitat of celebrity endangered species is also protecting the habitat of other endangered and potentially endangered species.
