Demand of German Embassy May 23: Free Paul Watson (Sea Shepherd/Save Whales & Sharks)

Dear Friend of Sea Shepherd,
Captain Watson has been granted bail, but he cannot leave Germany and the extradition process is proceeding! For the past week, we have called upon you to reach out and contact Germany's Federal Minister of Justice and Minister of Foreign Affairs to secure the captain's release from this politically motivated case. The world is mobilizing to #FreePaulWatson. Our voices are being heard, but we must keep the pressure on!

This Wednesday, May 23rd, we are calling upon all supporters of Captain Paul Watson to go to the nearest German embassy or consulate between 1100 and 1300 hours (local time) to protest his unjust arrest and impending extradition. Organize or join the cacophony of voices and demand Captain Paul Watson's freedom!

This international day of protest coincides with the Costa Rican President's visit to Germany. Make your voice be heard! Be respectful in your conduct and communications, but keep the pressure on. With your help, we can persuade the President of Costa Rica, the German Chancellor, and the Honorable Ministers of Germany to safeguard Captain Watson's human rights by not bowing to bogus accusations of shark fin poachers who are nothing more than common criminals.

For the oceans,

Sea Shepherd HQ

P.S. Remember — show solidarity and assemble at your closest German embassy or consulate this coming Wednesday between 1100 and 1300 hours (local time). Learn more...
