Death Toll In British Columbia Heatwave in 2021 Is Said to Have Been Nearly 600 People.

Nearly 600 people died due to record-setting B.C. heat wave this summer

Subtitle:

While heat-related deaths were recorded throughout B.C., Vancouver (99), Surrey (67), and Burnaby (63) had the highest number of deaths.

Some excerpts:

Nearly 600 British Columbians died due to extreme heat this summer, most of them in their homes.

The B.C. Coroners Service released updated data Monday showing that record-setting temperatures from summer 2021 have led to the deaths of at least 595 people.

That’s an increase from the preliminary finding in July of 569 deaths.

About 88 per cent of the heat-related deaths occurred during the unprecedented heat dome that scorched much of B.C. and devastated the community of Lytton, which was razed by a devastating wildfire on June 30.

Between June 25 and July 1, at least 526 people died from heat-related conditions.

The majority, or 69 per cent, of the deaths were in people aged 70 and older. No heat-related deaths were reported among children.

The highest daily death toll was on June 29, when 231 deaths occurred in B.C., followed by June 28 with 131 deaths...

Don't worry. Be happy.

Chant after me: Solar! Wind! Batteries! Hydrogen! Tesla! Solar! Wind! Batteries! Hydrogen! Tesla!...

I've been hearing this chant for about half a century.

It didn't work. It isn't working. It won't work.

Reality:

June 02: 421.64 ppm
June 01: 421.94 ppm
May 31: 421.83 ppm
May 30: 421.57 ppm
May 29: 421.74 ppm

Recent Daily Average Mauna Loa CO2

I hear all the time from people chanting above that "nuclear energy is too dangerous..."

Compared to what?

Heat waves in British Columbia, British Fucking Columbia?!?

Have a nice weekend.
