Great Barrier Reef coral cover at record levels, report shows - ABC News (Australia)
Record coral cover is being seen across much of the Great Barrier Reef as it recovers from past storms and mass-bleaching events.
But the new coral taking over is leaving the reef more vulnerable to future devastating impacts, according to the Australian Institute of Marine Science. The institute's head, Dr. Paul Hardisty speaks with ABC News about the report.
