“The current greenhouse gas emission-driven warming may reduce the Greenland ice sheet faster than forecast,” he told CNN.

For Bierman, it all adds up to evidence that Greenland’s ice sheet is fragile.

Unless the world takes radical action to bring levels of planet-heating pollution to zero, and simultaneously works to remove the carbon pollution already in the atmosphere, he said “we’re dooming the Greenland ice sheet, and a lot of that sea level rise is going to come quickly.”

“Geologists don’t usually get very upset about what we find,” he said. “But this is really upsetting.”

2. Wow. This should be the opening story on every news station.

But alas, it's not. Instead Ted Cruz is saying it was hot 150 years ago before cars so no need to worry.

I don't think we can imagine what the planet is going to look like in 10-15 years. We've been conditioned to think climate impacts will be 2050 & beyond but every year the bad stuff happens faster, sooner, bigger, & worse. And no one's prepared for the migration of humanity that's about to happen. If you're not living in an area where people are fleeing, you'll be living in an area where people are moving.

I liked the format of the vid, with the presenter on the screen all the time.
