Feral camels terrorizing Australian desert towns in search of water

Camels were introduced to Australia in the 1840s to assist in exploration and settlement. Now, there are over 1 million feral camels in Australia. Due to drought, huge herds are invading settled areas looking for water, sometimes destroying water taps and air conditioning units to get the water.
