This is where Democrats should plant their banner

Bring women's issues, gun control advocates, Wall Street regulation (OWS), education through arts and sciences together to tackle climate change.

We need the umbrella organization of Environmental Concerns to actually make advances in all these areas. It would dwarf the tea party and invigorate the entire Democratic Party and give us real meaning. No waffling or worrying about the NRA or Wall Street as there will be new industry for every state in the union.

This is an enormous opportunity. But how do I get it out of this forum to the leadership?

If any of these issues are to be successfully addressed, we need to stick together. And that includes national defense and civil liberties. People have a right to demand that the 2nd Amendment is executed faithfully. Our liberty requires gun ownership be responsible for the safety of the broader population. The insanity of beholding to the NRA has to end NOW!

It struck me that the species in dire need of help is the human one.

Without drinkable water and crops and the little things like bees, we aren't long for this world.

"Incoming Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) says a top priority of his is “to try to do whatever I can to get the (Environmental Protection Agency) reined in.”

We really need to have an uprising and a political movement outside the Democratic Party.
They will either seek our votes or they will pay a price in 2016 that may finally purge corporate money out of the party

And most Labor are Social Conservative, but economic Liberals, thus have no problems with Wall Street Regulations and increase spending on education, but gun control and woman's rights will have to be worked around (i.e NO ban on firearm ownership but tougher enforcement, and labor will oppose anything they see as cutting their wages as oppose to increasing the income of women).

You have to address the concern of labor, including shipping jobs overseas, and laws that restrict labor unionization (i.e. Support card check). Without Labor you can hang it up.

And making it healthier will take an intensive labor movement.

Listen to Sen. Al Franken's victory speech. He's smack in the middle of the political spectrum and dealing with real problems in real ways. And tackles both labor and climaye change.

My suggestion is to drive home for good the necessity of correct information and fact based laws. After liars and propaganda are exposed, we can hope to function as a free nation again.

http://m.livescience.com/47570-california-jobs-boost-from-green-energy.html

"California recently re-ascended to the rank of 8th largest economy in the world, passing Italy and Russia. Beginning in 2011, the state's job growth began significantly outpacing that of the national average. Since the low point of the recession around December 2009, California employment has increased 7.9 percent as compared to 5.8 percent growth for the rest of the nation. During this same period, a host of clean-tech bright spots have emerged, contributing to the state's economic surge. While more traditional jobs have played a larger role in growth than green jobs (narrowly defined), every industry in California's economy uses energy, so all are involved in the energy transition. . .
