[font size=3]According to Ernst & Young's latest quarterly Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index (CAI) the top five U.S. states in terms of renewable energy investment are California, New Mexico, Colorado, Massachusetts and Texas.

These five U.S. states look to be well positioned to continue to attract future renewable energy investments which will no doubt benefit their economies in years to come.

California still remains nation's undisputed renewable energy leader while the high ranking of states like Colorado, Massachusetts may seem to some people as a surprise though this is really a result of sustainable clean energy policy that includes mixing renewable energy research and development with already existing manufacturing facilities.

...

This report also claims that U.S. renewable energy investment dominated the global market in 2011 and that United States should be now considered the global leader in renewable energy investment and not China.

to prevent some of it from starting. Biomass. Wealthy corporations are getting grants to become biomass processors. In my area it will start with fallen trees and underbrush in the forests. When that runs out, they will have to look to other sources - tree farms for the purpose??
The state ecology has taught them how to qualify for minimum air quality requirements. They will leave a haze in town (sulfur dioxide, dioxin, formaldeyde), the grinders will be loud and there will be endless truck traffic.

Biomass is a scam for corporations.
