At Extinction Radio we bear witness to the Sixth Great Extinction Event currently unfolding by welcoming and reflecting a diversity of viewpoints on how, when and why extinction is occurring. Using a mix of formats including interviews, presentations, poetry and music, segments offer wisdom and compassion on navigating the probable demise of humanity and non-human species as well as advice and encouragement on living fully and with full awareness until we can no longer go on.
In today's podcast Peter Melton will be talking with Vinit Allen about his impressions of COP21. I will be talking with David Korn, Special Projects. David works behind the scenes at Extinction Radio as well as with Jennifer Hynes, Paul Beckwith, Guy McPherson and Sam Carana. Gail Zawacki will present her latest Dispatch from the Endocene talking about the extinction of lions in many regions of our planet, Carolyn Baker will talk about inner journeys and John Compost Cossham will talk about his resolutions or non-resolutions for the new year. Paul Beckwith will give his weekly update and Guy McPherson will present his Q&A. Debba Kale Earnshaw will read Sam Carana's blog update. I would like to welcome Susan Livingston to our show who will present the Extreme Weather for this week. We look forward to many more Extreme Weather updates from Susan.
Of course we will have our poet laureates of doom Rex Eagle, Debba Kale Earnshaw, and Benjamin TheDonkey. My musical gems will feature the music of Altan
