H2Logic launches ‘next generation’ hydrogen dispenser for day-to-day refuelling

April 18, 2016: H2 Logic A/S, a hydrogen (H2) refuelling station manufacturer, has launched a new, next generation H2 fuelling station product, aimed to seamlessly function within already-existing, conventional petrol stations.

The H2Station® CAR-200 dispenser triples H2 fuelling capacity, at a rate of 70 megapascal (MPa), as well as being just one third of the size of its predecessor – the CAR-100 product – enabling installation at smaller stations.

The new instrument can dispense a peak rush-hour capacity of up to 100kg of H2 in three hours from a single fuelling hose and can be installed anywhere within a radius of 50m away from a H2Station...snip

...H2Station technology is used on a daily basis in Denmark, which offers the worlds first countrywide network of H2 fueling stations. The Danish network is operated in collaboration with leading energy and gas companies and is based on 100% renewable H2 supply from electrolysis.

H2 Logic-Developing the World´s Largest Factory for Hydrogen Refuelling Stations

H2 Logic A/S has entered into a contract for the purchase of a facility in Herning, Denmark for the development of a new large-scale production plant for hydrogen refuelling stations. The factory will have an annual capacity to manufacture hydrogen refuelling stations sufficient to support 200 000 new Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV) annually.

With a total investment of NOK ~85 million, including contingency, NEL intends to convert the facility into a state-of-the-art volume production facility for refuelling stations based on lean manufacturing principles. When ramp-up and plant optimization is complete, the facility will have a name-plate production capacity of up to 300 refuelling stations per year. This will ensure further product improvements over time as well as other scale benefits...snip
