BART runs fine, works. Easy to get around. WHen freinds used to visit me in San Mateo, we'd take BART when we could--to Berkeley for concerts and games, to Embarcadero, over to Oakland A's stadium. AN adventure.

When BART went in, long before I moved to the Bay Area for college
(Santa Cruz, go Slugs!) the NIMBY super affluent peninsula said no. The didn't want those people to bae able to travel easily to their nice little bubble. Used to take Cal Train up and down the peninsula, but it was expensive and not as convenient.

This is long, long, long overdue.
