Taliban control of Afghanistan strongest since US invasion

The Special Inspector General for Afghanistan’s Reconstruction (SIGAR) has said in its 13th quarterly report that Taliban controls more of the country than at any time since U.S. troops invaded in 2001.

The US government watchdog says nearly 71.7% of Afghanistan is under the influence of the government, and because of the lack of security many Americans, and ‘even Afghan officials’ are unable to travel in different parts of Afghanistan to control the projects funded by the United States.

SIGAR has also mentioned on its report that due to the absence of their inspectors in a number of the U.S. government projects millions of dollars are being wasted for ghost schools, teachers and students.

Last June, the Ministers of Education and Higher Education have told to Afghan lawmakers that a large number of schools and teachers were forged by the former ministers of education appointed in Hamid Karzai’s government.

What has the US offered it?

Chaos. Profit taking. Sponsoring terrorists. Defending the child sex trade. Killing endless civilians.

Heck the US is directly responsible for the poppy fields... Which is a bit of history few Americans know...

On top of all of that, the entire country knows we're not really going to protect them from the Taliban. So standing up to them, for the average person, is a death sentence.

Dunno if you are familiar with the Vietnam war, but the US set up a drug unit in Laos that was shipping drugs to the US inside Soldier's coffins.

Here's a few links:

Not only that but the CIA definitely helped smuggle into the US at least a tonne of cocaine from Venezuela. They also let a Venezuelan drug kingpin use their warehouses in Florida for storage and distro of many additional tonnes of coke.

"WASHINGTON, Nov. 22— A Federal grand jury in Miami has indicted a Venezuelan general who led a Central Intelligence Agency counter-narcotics program that put a ton of cocaine on the streets of the United States in 1990, Government officials said today."

And god knows how many other examples there are.
