Stunned reactions keep coming in with respect to Ukraine reclaiming Lyman. Andrey Gurulyov, former deputy commander of Russia's southern military district, said he couldn't explain the defeat. He blamed in on a system of lies, "top to bottom" and was suddenly disconnected.
He was asked why nobody anticipated the fall of Lyman. His response was that this shouldn't have been possible from a military viewpoint, because troop-strengths and troop-movements are continuously evaluated.
Instead he blamed "the constant delivery of good reports, or you can call it lying" where information isn't transported from the bottom to the decision-makers at the top, but goes from top to bottom..................... and as soon as he spoke the word "lying", his skype-connection had a malfunction and a few seconds later he was gone.

to reflect his views. These reports were then presented to Bush as evidence that the USA had to follow through on Cheney's plans to takeover the Middle East (Project for a New American Century).
So, intelligence from the top down. A recipe for disastrous decision making.

The Russians continue to be doing worse, Id say mostly due to low morale but their tactics dont seem to be improving. In desperation they are just becoming more brutal and using terror tactics on civilians.
