Why Russia Has Not Retaliated for the Drone and Bridge Attacks (Yet) - William Spaniel

After two splashy attacks from Ukraine, Russia has not properly struck back---at least not yet. Why not? Today, we look into a couple of central problems with trying to retaliate. Russia's own domestic political pressures limit how much Russia can mobilize for the war effort, and it seems that the Kremlin is uninterested in pressing those limits despite the attacks. As a result, the Kremlin does not really have any new cards to play. It is sitting to wait to draw new ones. In turn, the normal course of the war persists.
