Kremlin threatens nuclear strike on Poland - Break the Fake - TVP WORLD

Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov has once again escalated his rhetoric – this time threatening that a nuclear strike could target Poland. Moscow's propaganda machine turns to nuclear saber rattling every time its failures become too obvious to hide. But is this "threat" real or just another desperate attempt to spread fear? In a new episode of Break The Fake, Jonasz Rewiński breaks down Solovyov's latest statement, the Zapad 2025 drills near Poland and Belarus, China's key role in blocking Putin's nuclear ambitions, and why nuclear intimidation is actually a sign of the Kremlin's weakness, not strength.

He does it because they're effective. The west reinforces the behavior every time they freak out and back down in response.

If countries like Poland and the Baltics want to retain their freedom, it probably makes sense for them to acquire their own nuclear deterrents. Probably the same for a number of Asian countries. The end of nuclear non-proliferation will likely be one of the legacies of the Ukraine war, given that it directly followed from Ukraine giving up its nuclear arsenal, in exchange for what they thought were security guarantees.
