Why China is Suddenly Turning Against Russia - Paul Warburg

Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, China has been taking advantage of the Ukraine War to make several moves against Russia - particularly in Siberia and the Russian Far East. The risk to Putin and Moscow has become even more pronounced as the Kremlin's financial position has weakened, and they have lost the ability to provide police protection or high military pay & benefits to people in Siberia. Combine that with Ukraine's strikes against Russian oil refineries, causing pronounced gasoline shortages in these exact regions, and and you'll realize that Russia is truly in a very precarious position - with China in the perfect place to step in and fill the gaps.
