Solovyov threatens Britain with nuclear war - Break the Fake - TVP WORLD

Russian state TV host Vladimir Solovyov is back in his usual role: threatening nuclear war from the safety of the studio.

This time, the target is the United Kingdom – a country not fighting Russia, not occupying Russian territory, and not preparing to attack. But on Kremlin television, facts are optional.

Solovyov’s nuclear rhetoric isn’t a slip of the tongue or an emotional outburst. It’s a well-worn propaganda tactic. Whenever Russia struggles on the battlefield in Ukraine, state TV pivots to imaginary nuclear strikes on Britain, NATO, or the West – projecting strength while distracting the audience.

Join Benjamin Lee in a new episode of Break the Fake to find out why Russian media keeps reaching for nuclear threats – and how this rhetoric fits into the Kremlin’s strategy.
