The most difficult logistical problem in war is perhaps how to handle wounded soldiers. Unlike other logistical problems, you may only get a few minutes to make a good decision. And getting it right is a matter of life or death. Today, I explain this problem in the context of the military situation Iran is currently facing. We then examine how NATO allies are trying to come up with a solution to the problem.
