Janice Stein in Toronto (CBC news The National) says the ball is in Iran's court as as soon as Hezbollah attacks Israel again from Lebanon, Israel will retaliate. And then everything will go kaput.
Applegrove: Israel has gotten a free pass to commit war on Lebanon during this war. That may have been Israel's calculation in starting this war with the US against Iran. Surely Israel knew about the Strait of Hormuz would be taken by Iran.
