Boca Jewish group gathers for Israel

The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County has organized a "Community Israel Solidarity Gathering" to show support for Israel as the battle with Hamas continues.

The gathering will be 6 p.m. Wednesday at B'nai Torah Congregation, 6261 SW 18 St.

Broward's Federation is also holding a rally in Davie on July 21 to help raise money for terror victims.

I suspect members in my family tree supported the IRA, but I cannot be certain, and they aren't talking since they are no longer alive.

Although I am a dual citizen I would not be able to support the murder of those in Antrim, or elsewhere, by the IRA or anybody else during he troubles.

I can understand the metrics behind a covert revolt, but I couldn't be a willful part of it.
