Palestinian cartoon campaign encourages more car attacks on Jews

A number of cartoons were circulating Thursday on social media urging more vehicular terror acts against Israel a day after such an attack took place in Jerusalem.

The cartoons feature depictions of speedometers, car pedals and pedestrians being run over, with Arabic captions urging Palestinians to perpetrate more such attacks against Israelis.

The cartoon campaign comes in the wake of two such confirmed 'run-over' attacks in Jerusalem that have claimed three lives over the past two weeks, as well as an incident in the West Bank on Wednesday night where three Israeli soldiers were hit by a car.

In what's being called a "Car Intifada," the cartoons, primarily circulating on Twitter, encourage Palestinians to run over Israelis as a means of 'resisting' the occupation.
