I did not get a chance to post on the Part I of this discussion what is meant by "abuse" -- according to this US Dept of Justice information, here is the definition of domestic violence and abuse:

What is Domestic Violence?

We define domestic violence as a pattern of abusive behavior in any relationship that is used by one partner to gain or maintain power and control over another intimate partner. Domestic violence can be physical, sexual, emotional, economic, or psychological actions or threats of actions that influence another person. This includes any behaviors that intimidate, manipulate, humiliate, isolate, frighten, terrorize, coerce, threaten, blame, hurt, injure, or wound someone.

Physical Abuse: Hitting, slapping, shoving, grabbing, pinching, biting, hair pulling, etc are types of physical abuse. This type of abuse also includes denying a partner medical care or forcing alcohol and/or drug use upon him or her.

Sexual Abuse: Coercing or attempting to coerce any sexual contact or behavior without consent. Sexual abuse includes, but is certainly not limited to, marital rape, attacks on sexual parts of the body, forcing sex after physical violence has occurred, or treating one in a sexually demeaning manner.

Emotional Abuse: Undermining an individual's sense of self-worth and/or self-esteem is abusive. This may include, but is not limited to constant criticism, diminishing one's abilities, name-calling, or damaging one's relationship with his or her children.

Economic Abuse: Is defined as making or attempting to make an individual financially dependent by maintaining total control over financial resources, withholding one's access to money, or forbidding one's attendance at school or employment.

Psychological Abuse: Elements of psychological abuse include - but are not limited to - causing fear by intimidation; threatening physical harm to self, partner, children, or partner's family or friends; destruction of pets and property; and forcing isolation from family, friends, or school and/or work.

Domestic violence can happen to anyone regardless of race, age, sexual orientation, religion, or gender. Domestic violence affects people of all socioeconomic backgrounds and education levels. Domestic violence occurs in both opposite-sex and same-sex relationships and can happen to intimate partners who are married, living together, or dating.

Domestic violence not only affects those who are abused, but also has a substantial effect on family members, friends, co-workers, other witnesses, and the community at large. Children, who grow up witnessing domestic violence, are among those seriously affected by this crime. Frequent exposure to violence in the home not only predisposes children to numerous social and physical problems, but also teaches them that violence is a normal way of life - therefore, increasing their risk of becoming society's next generation of victims and abusers.

1. I recognize that not everyone is interested in this topic of abuse

Some people may think any discussion of possible abuse of a woman is merely spam.

I disagree.

2. The intimidation

I think there was intimidation following the abuse at the airport in 1999. The reason I think so is because on that link I posted with other articles, one article stated that what happened right after this incident in Atlanta is that Jeb Bush took Columba Bush to Kennebunkport for "ten days."

It seems to me I recall in that Palm Beach Post article she spoke of this, and said she now realized what she did was "very wrong" or words to that effect. Something like that.


Yet, if by chance the truth is she couldn't read the form, or didn't understand the instructions, due to limited English proficiency,
and the fact she was alone, then, it seems to me this ten-day trip to Kennebunkport immediately after this incident was intimidation.

Like being sent to the woodshed, so to speak.

To some you may sound like someone who wants to learn more about abuse of women, and perhaps may even be interested in learning about physical battery of women.

May I suggest a book for you? It is by Hedda Nussbaum. I don't know if you've ever heard of her or lived in New York or if you are a woman or if you stayed home from work to watch the trial on tv against her lawyer-husband-abuser, as she looked like a train ran over her when she was first brought to the public attention, after the death of their adopted daughter, Lisa.

Surprisingly, perhaps, not all women supported her, as some blamed her for "not getting out sooner" or thought she was responsible for her 7 year old daughter's death.

Again, this was an example of physical abuse, as well as other types of abuse.

... that would make your theory sound the least bit plausible? Or do you always presume that accusations are true until proven false? As it stands, your theory sounds whacky anyway, so it doesn't help that you don't seem to be able to go beyond just making unsubstantiated allegations.

3. RE Psychopath

I posted an article on Part I of this discussion about the definition of a psychopath (written online by a doctor).

I do believe Jeb Bush and his father fit that definition.

It is therefore always disturbing and uncomfortable to discuss what they may actually be doing.
