is goodwill lgbt friendly?

my sister and i were discussing thrift stores the other day and she informed me that my thrift store of choice, arc, is not lgbt friendly and that i should shop at goodwill. i thought i had heard before that they're not, but my google fu turned up limited information, most of it that they are lgbt friendly. i want to vote the best i can with what limited dollars i have, so i'm coming to you all for more information. and, of course, the salvation army is absolutely out of the question.

i do stop at the locally-owned thrift stores, but they seldom have anything i like and i've always had pretty good luck at the big ones.

1. My mother-in-law has volunteered for Goodwill since 2005

I have not once saw anything even remotely against the LGBT community.

There main office is close to where I Live and it seems to me that they help all in need with no judgment.

i haven't given to sa since i found out they are anti-lgbt
