Oh what a tangled web they weave

petition drive from the so-called One Million Moms has one mom crying foul after she attempted to use the antigay website to send Kraft/Nabisco a positive, pro-gay message.

OneMillionMoms.com allows users to send an automated message to the targets of its campaigns, with the option to edit or add personalized messages. In this case the message was for Kraft/Nabisco, the maker of Oreo cookies, which mocked up a rainbow cookie to celebrate gay pride month. Doreen Bologovsky saw the letter and told The New Civil Rights Movement that she felt compelled to applaud the company for its creativity and support.

"At the bottom of the email, there's a checkbox to have a copy sent to yourself," she said on the site, "so I did." Imagine my surprise when the copy came to my email box, and none of my changed text was in there. They had sent the original 'suggested' text instead!"

Bologovsky said she did send a follow-up email directly to the company, applauding its support.

Just like another group I know that tries to deceive.
