mentions "humanity" going "extinct." It does sound to me like that is what they are referring to. I'm not sure though. That is just the way I read it.

But since you posted that, I can't be associated with people like that. Those are some hateful comments. I just don't understand. Even if they disagree with gay marriage, why do they have to be so nasty about it? Is that traditional values to call someone a faggot? For supposedly religious folk, they are extremely hateful.

Yeah, I was really thinking about eating there today (because I do love their chicken sandwiches), but after reading these comments, I won't do it. Besides, my girlfriend would kill me!

I work for a grocery store that had just opened their first store in Atlanta. One of the first customers I met told me how great Chick fil A was (her husband managed a local franchise) and we would enjoy their food because it is healthier than other fast foods. She went on to tell me all about the company explaining their 'family values'. I vowed never to eat there and never have. They are fundy to the core. Hubby used to grab lunch there once in awhile but not anymore. Chicken and bigotry sandwiches tends to make him ill.

I've dealt with their bullying in the name of Cheezus all my life. It's major PTSD having been beaten, bruised, pushed, mugged, teased mercilessly and told that I'm going to hell. I spent every damn day at a redneck school in fear for my life, witness to a 1970's murder case that got dismissed on the "he touched my dick" defense. I work with a bigoted redneck who "doesn't agree with the gay thing" but openly announces locker-room-style "I'd tap that (any buxom female that appears) and mah wyfe would never know".
Not a follower of any organized faith, yet Cheezus did teach something like: Don't throw stones unless you're sin-free? Something tells me most of the rabid anti-gay marriage folks wouldn't want their marriages examined with same speculation given gay folk.
No there is nothing innocent, decent, civilized, intelligent or considerate about these anti-gay crusades.

there are issues sometimes with grocery stores and some other places where you need to go to buy basic needs. and there is a lack of options.

but chick fila is junk food. i think the food is good/tasty but it is junk food. and you have many other options for that if you feel like eating something that isn't really good for you. chick filas are always in places like mall food courts where there are other places you can easily get food at.
